The Opportunity
We’re scaling our infrastructure team behind our trading products portfolio, and looking for a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to help deploy, operate, and improve it. You’ll work alongside senior engineers and the architect, contributing to infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability while continuously expanding your skills in a modern cloud stack.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of meaningful pieces of our infrastructure, learn from experienced teammates, and have a direct impact on a fast-moving product.
What You’ll Do
- Containerized Deployments: Support the deployment and operation of containerized applications on AWS.
- Infrastructure as Code: Help maintain and extend infrastructure defined with Pulumi (TypeScript).
- CI/CD: Contribute to GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
- Monitoring & Observability: Assist in monitoring and observability using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Alloy, Sentry, and Zabbix.
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and help resolve infrastructure and pipeline issues.
- Documentation: Write and maintain documentation for infrastructure and processes.
- Containers: Work with Docker containers in development and production environments.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Solid understanding of Linux fundamentals (command line, processes, networking, permissions).
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD principles.
- Some exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Eagerness to learn infrastructure-as-code tooling.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- TypeScript or JavaScript experience.
- Hands-on experience with Pulumi, Terraform, or similar IaC tools.
- Exposure to GitLab CI/CD (or similar pipelines like GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with any observability stack (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Sentry, Zabbix).
- AWS certifications or coursework.
- Scripting experience (Bash, Python).
